Over two months since its release, strategy game Empire: Total War is still going strong in sales. The NPD Group's figures for the week of May 10th through 16th show that the game's clawed its way back into the top three for PC retail sales in the US.
World Of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (Blizzard)
The Sims 2 Double Deluxe (EA Maxis)
Empire: Total War (Creative Assembly)
World Of Warcraft Battle Chest (Blizzard)
Left 4 Dead (Valve)
Spore (EA Maxis)
World Of Warcraft (Blizzard)
Fallout Trilogy (Interplay)
Fallout 3 (Bethesda)
The Sims 2 Apartment Life Exp. Pack (EA Maxis)
Empire was released on March 3rd here in the States. The continued strong sales can probably be chalked up to good word of mouth. As you can see, it reviewed pretty damn well.
