Perfect World Entertainment’s latest free-to-play MMO is Heroes of the Three Kingdoms. To launch the closed beta Perfect World is giving away a free USB drive to a lucky closed-beta participant.

Based on the events surrounding the epic Battle of Red Cliff, HOTK will put you in the middle of one of the bloodiest battles in China's history. You'll have your choice of 18 different weapons and choose to fight for one of the fabled Three Kingdoms: Wu, Shu or Wei.

The game is a North American port of the movie-based MMORPG, Red Cliff, which was developed by Perfect World and published under the Cubizone license. The game features motion-captured movement for combat and skills, giving it a dynamic feel to the battles, including a realtime, manual blocking skill.

Heroes of the Three Kingdoms is scheduled to enter closed beta on July 13th. Gamers will be eligible to win the free USB flash-drive up until July 21st. For more info on the game be sure to visit the Official Website.
