Xbox 360 fanboys may tire of the endless lists of PS3 fanboys that include a handful of particular exclusives for the PlayStation 3 that are supposedly going to bury the 360. No doubt, Uncharted 2 is always on that list and with good reason. The new five-minute long in-game video footage is spot-on amazing and features some of the best platform-action sequences to-date.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, features third-person mixed-genre action that combines haymakers and right-hooks with Ak-47s and ledge-hopping. A little confused? Well don’t be. The game’s seamless transition of beat-e’m-up action, third-person shooting and jungle-gym platforming makes for some of the most intense gameplay featured in a video game. The five-and-a-half minute long video showcases and highlights many of the game’s strong points without a hitch. If there was one complaint I have with this game it would have to be with the animation-transitions; Drake sometimes clicks and snaps between certain actions. It’s quite apparent in the following trailer but it’s no big deal.
