Who owns a PS3 and will finally be picking up Uncharted with extra added Trophy sparkletasticness just as soon as he finishes Metal Gear Solid 4? That’s right, this guy. The game has a total of 48 Trophies for collectors to go back and nab. 47 are just the old “Medals” and one new Platinum Trophy for getting the original achievements.

If you’ve already gained the medals from your first play through they will not be automatically converted to Trophies. You have to go back and replay the game. Naughty Dog took this route to dissuade people from using game saves to up their Trophy count. After all you could just save the game to a flash drive and share it with friends to give them the Trophies.

This puts Uncharted at the top of my list of “back catalogue” PS3 games to pick up in the near future as I eagerly await Little Big Planet.
