It’s a rare occurrence to have a game that features players in the role of anything other than the hero, but that’s exactly how it is in the new Tecmo and Koei project, Undead Knights. Koei let loose some new assets during the Big Chill festival which was all about gathering as many undead [cosplay] zombies in one place at one time.

According to Electronic Theatre ….

A total of 4,026 zombie fans joined in one place to break the Guinness World Record for the largest amount of zombies caught on camera, for forthcoming zom-com I Spit On Your Rave [mockumentary]. In order to take part in these events wannabe zombies had to be a Big Chill Festival ticket holder and look like one of the undead; as the Tecmo Koei Europe team aptly demonstrated.

During the event Tecmo Koei showed off Undead Knights, the exclusive zombie-horde game for the PSP. The game sees players controlling hordes of the undead and trying to take over a stronghold by infecting the inhabitants. Hmm, sounds interesting.
