Rising Star Games announced that their PS3 exclusive, Under Defeat HD, has officially launched for Sony's HD system via the PlayStation Network. You can pick up a digital copy of the bullet-hell shooter right now for only $29.99. It's also interesting that the PS3 has had more noteworthy releases this week than its arch-rival, the Xbox 360.
As stated in the press release...
Developed by Japanese arcade video game company G.Rev, Under Defeat is widely regarded as one of the best-selling and finest shooting games ever made. Set in an alternate universe during a World War-esque conflict, Under Defeat HD lets players take on the role of a helicopter pilot in a territory divided by struggle between the Empire and the Union.
The new HD Deluxe Edition of the age-old classic comes fully primed and equipped with the latest in HD'ism....this includes revamped textures to look gritty and all gun-metal dirty on your 50 inch TV, as well as high-quality sound and audio so the explosions sound bigger and the guns sound badder. Enhanced shadowing, lighting and shader effects have been implemented and two new modes have made the cut as well to round out the experience, including Classic Mode and New Order Mode.
If you've been in the mood to scratch the itch of a bullet-hell shooter, you'll probably find Under Defeat HD a worthy solution for your ailment.
You can pick up a digital copy of the game right now or you can take it one step further with a physical disc-based copy that comes with an art-book, a soundtrack on CD and all current DLC and patches in one sleek package, exclusively on Amazon.
