Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption Hits Good Old Games
Today Good Old Games has added another Activision title to their library. Role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption can be yours for $5.99.
Redemption should not be confused with Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, the excellent RPG released by Troika in 2004. This game predates Bloodlines by four years and was developed by Nihilistic Software, one of the studios who tried to make StarCraft: Ghost. Redemption differs from Bloodlines in a number of important ways. You control a group of characters instead of just one, and it comes with multiplayer support. In online matches, one player acts as the "storyteller" (i.e. Game Master) and guides the adventure of the other players.
This is the third Activision title to be released through GOG. The first two were Arcanum and Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers.
