WWE Superstars Take On Xbox Live In Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007

Up and coming middle-carders Shelton Benjamin and that lucky son-of-gun who’s dating Melina, Johnny Nitro, are ready to take on Xbox Live participants with the Xbox 360's Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007. The Game with Fame will be hosted from London, ahead of the Monday Night RAW event taking place in the capital on April 23rd.
While most non-wrestling fans have no idea who Shelton or Mr. Nitro is, dedicated WWE fans know exactly who they are. It’s also apparent that the two wrestlers are, according to the press release, keen gamers who are looking to size up the competition with any of the 6 million or so Xbox Live members. It would be really, really cool if the people who registered and played against these two happened to create characters that resembled the likenesses of wrestlers from NWA: TNA. Oh man, I don’t there would be anything better than someone beating Shelton with a re-creation of AJ Styles. Tell me that wouldn’t be embarrassing to the brand or to the pseudo-egotistic wrestler? But I’m sure most people would probably just like to tell their friends that they played against two of WWE’s rising superstars, rather than actually take time out to whoop their butts.
