The PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 will be getting a Watchmen beat 'em up this week but you didn't think the video game tie-ins would end there, did you? The iPod Touch and iPhone will be getting their own Watchmen game as well.

Watchmen: Justice Is Coming is an online roleplaying game inspired by the graphic novel/film which takes place in New York City in 1975. Crime is rampant and players presumably create their own super heroes. Based on the features outlined on the official website, it's pretty damn complex:

• Rich real-time 3D environments with 1000’s of other player-characters in-game
• Create your own Watchmen avatar with unique look, skills, and costumes
• Battle online foes through strategic 3D combat engine
• Socialize with other online characters with in-game chat feature
• Unique player identity with persistent game-play progress and stats
• Adventure through 5 vast environments completing story objectives (Downtown, Red Light District, Cemetery, Financial District, City Park)

Sounds ambitious for a mobile game. The release date is listed simply as "early March" right now.
