Comic book film Watchmen is coming on March 6th and as expected, the tie-in game Watchmen: The End is Nigh will be released in the same week. Warner Bros. has just announced the release dates for the first episode of the downloadable brawler.

End is Nigh will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC on Wednesday, March 4th. PS3 owners, meanwhile, will get it on March 5th. The game's said to be priced at 1600 Microsoft Points ($20).

Don't worry about the game spoiling the movie for you; the events depicted in End is Nigh actually take place before the movie. The game stars two of the film's main characters Rorschach and Nite Owl during their crime-fighting glory days and features a mixture of brawler and puzzle action. It can be played in two different modes: local, split-screen co-op or single-player (with A.I. companion).
