As if We Skiing wasn’t enough, now We (can) Ski & Snowboard. Hoo-ray! Namco Bandai recently announced that their prime-time snow grinding game is shipping for the Wii, and should be readily available for purchase at local retailers.
“We Ski & Snowboard provides responsive controls and immersive environments of the original and enhances them to a whole new level by combining the added thrill of snowboarding,“ said Todd Thorson, director of marketing and public relations for Namco Bandai Games America. “Providing two new mountains to explore, this exciting new experience offers all the exhilaration of these beloved snow activities without the risk of bitter cold and broken bones.” The game features both the functionality and innovation of the Wii Balance Board and Wii-mote and Nunchuck. So gamers will get a full, all-around body workout as they take to the slopes of Mt. Angrio or the half-pipes and picnic tables of Jamboree Snow Resort’s trick park. There are also a number of side-challenges (including rescue missions) available for gamers who would like to do more with their skiing/snowboarding skills than weave through slalom courses or pull mad tricks off high jumps. We Ski & Snowboard carries the $39.99 price tag and it’s rated ‘M’ for Mature because of all the sex and violence. No, I’m kidding. Seriously, though, it’s rated ‘E’ for everyone. Honestly, how would they even add sex and violence to a kiddie-game like this?
