Weekly Recap Dec 22nd: THQ Files For Bankruptcy, Holiday Sales, Dark Souls 2 Wii U

The biggest news of the week was obviously THQ filing for bankruptcy. The company had been financially reeling all year long after a really bad investment into those Udraw devices that cost them more than $56 million in capital, setting them back far enough that they're now being eyed by Ubisoft for a potential buyout. Amidst all the negative-Nancy news for THQ, there are still some great holiday sales events going on right now and a bunch of gamers are still fighting hard to sign a petition that could possibly get FromSoftware's Dark Souls 2 onto the Wii U. These stories and more in this December 22nd, 2012 edition of the Gaming Blend Weekly Recap.
