From September 21st to the 27th there has been a good deal of trailer teasing, reviewing, and some hype for an under-rated game that will redefine gaming history. Nevertheless, here at Blend Games we make sure that whatever happened throughout the week that you needed to be made aware of, we make you aware of it. So without wasting a lot of words on things you don’t care about. Let’s get started with our Weekly Recap.
Monday: Blend Games Started its hype for Borderlands. The entire week has daily news on Borderlands, so be sure to check it out once you click on the link, or visit the Blend Games Forum to get the lowdown on our coverage of Gearbox’s ambitious RPG-shooter.
Tuesday: A new Punisher game is on the way. It’s called Punisher: No Mercy. Personally, I would have preferred Punisher: No Mercy, No Regret. I mean, if they’re going to go all butch and macho, you minus well go full butch. Simply because...half macho is just plan silly.
Thursday: Very important news from Bungie regarding some very important...uh...news. Bungie had a countdown that unveiled a teaser trailer. I’m not really sure how gamers are supposed to get geeked over a teaser for a teaser, but you can see the teaser trailer for yourself, just to see how much a tease that teaser trailer really is.
Friday: New trailer for Mirror’s Edge has been released. This flash-movie trailer gives some backbone to a story that I originally thought was paper thin. I guess that papery looking flash movie proved me wrong. There’s also some extra screen captures to view once you get done ungluing your eyes from the minute-and-half movie.
Saturday: All those funky creations gamers have created on Little Big Planet’s Beta will die once the beta ends. That’s no big surprise, as it happens all the time once games come out of their beta. But before jumping to conclusions, you should check out the full story for the full low-down.
And in case you really didn’t see the article on our main page, it appears that Fable 2 will not be featuring an online cooperative mode. There’s nothing better in a game than to have an online pal half-way around the world who doesn’t speak good English. But it looks like online gamers won’t have that privilege of being linguistically frustrated with Fable 2. Check out the full story to find out why.
