Weekly Recap: Xbox One Takes China By Storm, And 5 Other Big Stories

We kick things off with an unlock guide for the Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros., the recently released game for North Americans and Europeans, after it already conquered Japan. The Xbox One has launched in China, and opposite of its launch in Japan, Microsoft has managed to get some good headway going into the People's Republic of China. No official numbers have satiated the fanboy console war enthusiast, but word is that all 100,000 SKUs have already been moved.

New details have emerged that hint at a possible launch window for DayZ on home consoles, and yes, Dean “Rocket” Hall is only going multi-platform because there's no reason a game not specifically designed for a console's hardware can't be on other consoles. Speaking of zombie games, State of Decay has entered the 2 million sales club, all without having an advertising budget. Super Smash Bros. 3DS Unlock Guide

You want to unlock all the characters in the Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros.? Well, here's how you do it. Bungie continues to expand Destiny with some much-needed fixes to current issues. Xbox Launches In China

The Xbox One has finally launched in China and maybe Microsoft will have a better time over in the People's Republic than they did in the land of the Rising Sun. Bayonetta gets put through performance analysis ringer in a comparison that sees the Wii U clearly edging out the Xbox 360 and PS3. Taco Bell is giving away a free, Destiny-theme PS4... oh yeah, and it's white. World of Warcraft has some big changes inbound in the next patch. Big news for Wii U owners, as Shin'en Entertainment has managed to hit 720p at 60fps for Fast Racing Neo. EA and DICE really want people to know that Battlefield: Hardline won't be broke when it releases. And a glitch in Destiny has revealed what some of the game's upcoming DLC might be.

Pokemon Lands on iPhones

People begged to get Nintendo's properties on mobile devices, and it looks like it's happening... with Pokemon. Skullgirls actually has a brand new character that's being made available... for free. Following Microsoft's acquisition of Mojang, they plan on releasing Minecraft into the retail space this November. Payday 2's latest bit of DLC pays homage to Dennaton Games' culturally iconic Hotline Miami and it's available right now. In a strange twist of fate, the Loot Cave in Destiny has managed to become its very own standalone game. Strange indeed. And a bit of DLC is revealed for the recently released Shadow of Mordor... an epic fight you'll literally have to pay to experience.

DayZ On Xbox One, PS4 In 2015?

It's possible that the open-world zombie title, DayZ, could find itself on home consoles in 2015... maybe. There's a great way to combat breast cancer by playing Ms. Pac-Man. And Kingdom Come: Deliverance has officially set a release date for the game's playable alpha test.

D4 Is Never Coming To PS4

If you were hoping that Swery65's off-beat, point-and-click adventure title might come to the PS4, think again. New alpha footage of the PS4 exclusive Bloodborne was released. State Of Decay Sells 2 Million

Without marketing, without advertising, without a massive $50 million dollar campaign, Undead Labs managed to sell more than 2 million copies of State of Decay across multiple platforms. Bungie addresses the whole concept of private matches for Destiny. If you want to set a world record in Mario Kart 8... you better put in a lot of practice time. Some new miniature controllers are being released for the Xbox One. The horse update for Minecraft on home consoles is coming soon. Super Smash Bros has finally released on the Nintendo 3DS.
