Don’t pull out the victory flags and the happy-dance songs just yet. While Koch Media has made it known that supply for the demand of Wii products is finally starting to even out, it’s more-so for gamers who happen to live across the pond. If you don’t know what I mean, I’ll simply say that the UK is finally going to get the proper amount of Wii SKUs to meet the insatiable demand.

Koch Media informed Electronic Theatre about the current break-through of getting enough Wii units in the retailer channel’s availability. This has been an issue since November, 2006, when the Wii launched with overwhelming success and managed to stay sold-out pretty much wherever it was sold.

Retailers can order larger quantities of Wii consoles now, which marks a milestone in the Wii hardware distribution arena, where the console was always in short supply. Heck, even those of us within the gaming journalism ring had to share a Wii for the longest because there just weren’t enough of them.
