Today Amazon.com expanded its digital games distribution to WiiWare, the Wii service offering original, downloadable games. They're now offering WiiWare download codes through their website.

The first WiiWare title to be offered is World of Goo. After you get the code from Amazon, you'll just punch it into your Wii and download the game normally. According to VG247, this is only available in North America currently.

Earlier this month, Amazon unveiled a new section of their site devoted to Xbox Live Arcade games. The WiiWare offering seems to be limited to one title currently so maybe they're testing the waters before expanding that selection.
