Raven Software's upcoming sequel to 2001's Return to Castle Wolfenstein has definitely been laying low for awhile now but you should hear a lot more about it soon. Why? It's only a few months away from release.
Activision revealed today in its quarterly earnings call that Wolfenstein will arrive sometime this Summer. Blend Games had a chance to check it out during Activision's pre-NY Comic Con event last Thursday night and it faithfully the series' trend of combining World War II with really weird shit. It seemed pretty polished too, even though it wasn't playable for us journos.
Wolfenstein once again stars American special agent B.J. Blazkowicz, who must prevent the Nazis from tapping into an unlimited energy force that could give them the upper hand in the war. When the game arrives, it will be released simultaneously for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
