Valve has just revealed their weekend sale for digital games platform Steam and it's a doozy. Call of Duty: World at War is now 50% cheaper to buy.

The discount brings the game down to $24.99 instead of the usual $49.99. The game comes with Map Pack 1, which contains three new competitive multiplayer maps and a zombie co-op map as well. Those maps are ordinarily free for the PC version anyhow so don't give Steam too much credit for that part.

Additionally, World at War matches will dole out twice as much experience points as normal this weekend. Quite the promotional onslaught, I'd say.
