Breaking the mold of oh-so-many sites that create "top games ever" lists, TheGameReviews.com has instead opted to provide visitors with a list of games to play before you die a horrible, cheeto-fueled death.
The way that the games on this list wer chosen was not because the games are the "30 greatest games ever made", but because they are so unique and impactful that anyone who considers himself or herself a gamer must at least play once them in order to form their own opinions about them. No-brainers like BioShock and Metal Gear Solid 4 make the list, but some surprises (anybody up for some Dance Dance Revolution?) show up as well.
I personally would've replaced Sim City 2000 with The Sims, but that's just me. Also, I'd like to add just ONE more game to that list. It's a free-to-play online flash game called You Have To Burn The Rope. It's probably the greatest game ever made. Make sure your volume is up at least a little bit so you can hear the end-credits song.
