The Behemoth's side-scroller Alien Hominid HD is this week's Xbox Live Deal of the Week. It's now only 400 Microsoft Points ($5) instead of the usual 800 ($10).

In Alien Hominid, players control a yellow alien trying to recover his spaceship from the FBI. The original game was released in 2004 for the PS2, GameCube, Xbox and re-released for the Xbox 360 as Alien Hominid HD in 2007. HD adds high-def graphics, cooperative multiplayer, online minigames and downloadable PDA levels.

If the name "The Behemoth" sounds familiar, it's because they've been in the news a lot lately. Last week, their co-op beat 'em up Castle Crashers was crowned the 2008 Xbox Live Arcade Game of the Year. The week before that, they revealed the first trailer for their untitled new game.
