Aliens: Colonial Marines Trailer Enters Xenomorph Hive

No Aliens game would be complete without a trip into a Xenomorph hive. The new Aliens: Colonial Marines trailer from Gearbox Software shows that the co-op shooter will indeed take you into the breeding ground for these bloodthirsty creatures.

Colonial Marines takes place after the events of the film Aliens. Players are part of a team sent to search for survivors at the colony world LV-426. In their search, they'll revisit many locations from the movie including Hadley's Hope and the U.S.S. Sulaco.

The Sulaco has taken a turn for the worse since the film. It's now completely overrun with xenomorphs. The ship's engineering room has been turned into a hive. That's probably going to hurt the resale value.

Gearbox will release Colonial Marines on the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U next month.
