Amy Trailer Shows The Importance Of Relationships During Zombie Outbreak

Lexis Numerique and Vector Cell have released a new trailer for the upcoming horror-survival title, Amy, which really seems to embrace both the horror and survival elements. The video covers the strong beyond between Lana and Amy and how both are essential to each other for survival.

In most horror-survival games the survival part doesn’t really play much of a factor into the gameplay as much as it should, although I think Dead Space and Amnesia really nail this aspect of the genre. In Amy players will have to use their wits to traverse through the environments as well as keep alert and eye out on both characters in case of impending danger.



I particularly like how Lana has to keep around Amy in order to subdue the infection. That kind of crutch will definitely keep players on their toes as opposed to drolling through the experience just trying to get to the end like it is in some games. Or at least I hope the feature keeps players on their toes.
