Remember the Weinstein’s new video game publishing label, TWC Games? Well, the first two games under that label are being prepped for release across iPhones, iPads and Facebook and they’re based on former popular LPs Scream and Hellraiser. The games are called Angry Pinheads and Screamville.

Beefy Media President, Adam Boyes commented in the press release, saying…

"Our vision was to create high quality games with these popular franchises and i feel we have created an experience for gamers unlike anything seen in recent years with regards to licensed movie properties." …"The synergy that TWC Games and Beefy Media has had with our new partners has us very excited for the future of our brand. As we have said before, we're about creating games for gamers by gamers and i think we have done just that."

Apparently Boyes hasn’t played other movie-based games recently, but that’s beside the point. Screamville will see gamers trying to compete for victims in their friend’s towns. It’s a socially motivated game via Facebook and will tie-in with the new Scream 4 movie.

Angry Pinheads is a puzzle game based on the Hellraiser franchise featuring the once-feared Pinhead and the game will be available for the iPhone and iPad.

Both games will be available throughout April, with Screamville going online starting April 14th and Angry Pinheads becoming available on the App Store beginning April 26th.
