Digital games shop Good Old Games announced today that several games published by Activision will be coming to their catalog. The first two, released today, are Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers and Arcanum.
Sins of the Fathers is a point and click adventure first released in 1993. Novelist Gabriel Knight is investigating a series of voodoo-related murders in New Orleans because he figures it'll make a good book. Turns out it makes for a pretty good game, too. Arcanum, meanwhile, is a steampunk fantasy RPG. It was developed by Troika Games, a now-defunct studio founded by designers of the original Fallout. It was on my list of the Most Underappreciated Games of the Decade so obviously I'm pretty fond of it. Each game is priced at $5.99. Additional Activision titles will be added to GOG in the coming weeks. |
