Bohemia Interactive and Idea Games announced today that the iOS exclusive, Arma 2: Firing Range, is currently available for download from the iTunes App Store. The small app contains a number of high-profile weapons available for testing on a firing range.

As stated in the press release...

Arma 2: Firing Range allows shooter-enthusiasts to experience the extremely realistic Armaverse on their iPhone or iPad. Pick a weapon from dozens available. Examine it within an interactive 3D preview and study its specs - or try it out once!

The initial Firing Range app is actually free-to-use with a single firing range available, three different weapons to test out and three levels from the career mode. The sampler is just enough to give gamers a hint of what the full app has to offer and being that the full thing only costs $1.99, which unlocks all the additional content, I don't see how that's a bad deal at all.

Just make sure your iOS is version 4.3 or higher before downloading the game.
