Assassin's Creed 3 Demo Heads To Boston

Even if you're not at San Diego Comic Con, you'll get a chance to see more of Assassin's Creed 3 this weekend. Ubisoft has released a walkthrough demo of the open-world game narrated by creative director Alex Hutchinson.

In the demo, Connor is helping the colonists strike at British forces throughout the city. He uses some of the same tricks as Altair and Ezio, but also has some new moves. For example, he silently kills a redcoat while riding past in the back of a wagon. At another point, he snags a soldier with a noose and hangs him.

Boston is one of two cities in AC3, the other being New York. Neither will have the scale of Rome or Constantinople but the advantage of smaller cities is that Ubisoft make them more detailed. Note how Connor is able to actually climb inside a building during his trek through Boston.

AC3 will debut on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 30th here in North America.
