Ubisoft announced today that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online has received new content inspired by Assassin's Creed. These new in-game items will let players dress like an Assassin in the free-to-play online shooter.

The new GRO items include five pieces of body armor for the Recon class. Four of the items cover your torso in all white. The fifth item is a hood, the signature headpiece of all Assassins.

Ubisoft also added 6 new weapons. No, you don't get a hidden blade or a tomahawk. Instead, the new weapons are six firearms: F2000 SP AC, Fiveseven AC, MG36 KV AC, P90 C AC, Sentinel SR-1 AC, and Pentagun SP AC. These guns are said to be "straight from the weapon racks of Abstergo industries private security forces."

The new armor and weapons meant as a celebration of the upcoming Tyranny of King Washington DLC for Assassin's Creed 3. King Washington is a three-part, alternate history campaign in which George Washington becomes a power-hungry tyrant. The first part of the campaign will be released in a week.

The GRO items can be purchased iwth either Requisition Points or Ghost Coins. They'll be on sale from February 11th to March 1st.
