Assetto Corsa Screenshots Features A Sexy Black Racer

Ayrton Senna's 98T black silk Lotus racing machine from Team Lotus is the prime centerpiece of attention in the latest bit of screenshots from Kunoz Simulazioni's upcoming PC exclusive, Assetto Corsa. The screenshots are all taken from in-game as Kunoz hopes to catch up to Slightly Mad Studios in their attempts to capture photo-realistic race car driving.

I think I'd still give the edge to Slightly Mad Studios' Project CARS just because it feels so visceral and we've still yet to see a trailer for Assetto Corsa that made me go “Wow”. Most of the footage and screens seem very placated and it's hard to get excited when the game takes such a traditional route with its media promotion.

Nevertheless, Assetto Corsa looks good, and the DirectX 11 racer aims to bring some of the most high-end racing machines to a PC near you with some of the most striking visuals present in a racing car simulator.
