Auto Club Revolution Exits Beta, Now Officially Available To Everyone
ACR, the Eutechnyx designed online arcade racing simulator that runs out of your browser, has officially exited beta and has become officially available to any and everyone out there willing to partake in some intense online competitive racing.
Eutechnyx Chief Commercial Officer, Darren Jobling commented about the release of the game, saying...
“From the initial closed beta launch right through to our commercial release we’ve been taking our lead from the game’s beta test players adding and changing features accordingly, don’t expect this to change now that we’re in commercial release. Our teams have long term plans for new content, new features and new initiatives which will cement Auto Club Revolution’s position at the top of the pile.”
There will undoubtedly be a lot of tough competition between Auto Club Revolution and the current browser-based title, iRacing, which seems to have a very dedicated community at the moment.
Auto Club Revolution sports many of today's popular racing machines, ranging from the BMW to the Lotus and all the high-end sports cars in between. The game has an easy enough learning curve to allow for newbie racing fans to hop right in and start racing. There's also enough depth to enable hardcore racing fans to expand and explore options to enhance the experience for something more simulation oriented.
The various stages of beta have been taking place with ACR since March of 2012, with additional tests unleashed throughout the year leading up to the release today.
