If you're sour on modern RPGs and want to relive the "good old days," Atari's got your back. Next week they'll re-releasing several Dungeons and Dragons games to stores. You can pre-order these two retro anthologies through GameStop, Amazon and Target.

Dungeons & Dragons Anthology: The Master Collection collects six games and their expansions into one box set. You'll get all of these games for just $19.99:
  • Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 + Expansions
  • Icewind Dale 1 & 2 + Expansions
  • Planescape: Torment
  • The Temple of Elemental Evil
Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter Nights Complete, meanwhile, will give you Neverwinter Nights, Neverwinter Nights 2, and the three expansion packs released for each game. Atari will also throw in an 18"x21" poster map of the city of Neverwinter. This particular bundle will set you back $29.99.

If you're a fan of Mass Effect or Dragon Age, I'd highly suggest checking out these old games. They follow a similar formula: plentiful side quests, dialogue choices, and strategic combat. They definitely do justice to the D&D license. Plus, you're looking at 100+ hours of gameplay in each bundle for a fraction of the cost of a new game.
