Eidos recently announced that the best selling Batman game in recent history is ready to make its appearance for PC platforms. The Games for Windows version of Batman: Arkham Asylum is due to hit store shelves today in North America and Friday for Euro gamers. To commemorate this milestone Eidos and Warner Bros have released some new screenshots to show off the Nvidia tech behind the game.

Like all PC ports (or most of them, anyway) Batman: Arkham Asylum features enhanced visual effects, support for newer Nvidia cards and PhysX. Gamers will benefit for more physics-enhanced cape fluttering, glass shattering action and ultimately, these features will somehow make it a better game. Well, if you’re a atmospheric graphics whore, anyway.

The new screenshots are just to accommodate the verification of uber-stylized visuals for PC gamers. But they’re nothing you haven’t already seen in previous screenshot sets of Batman: Arkham Asylum here at Blend Games.
