Eidos and Rocksteady released the official launch trailer for Batman: Arkham Asylum. The new trailer is pure awesome and just looks amazing. The graphics are still breathtaking and the scenery and visual presentation almost acts as if it could inspire what the next Batman flick could be like.

The game mixes in stealth-action, gadgets and free-form combat for players to dispatch enemies. There is some physics play that comes into the picture, allowing players to use objects or break away parts of the environment to access different areas or take out a group of baddies.

So far the reviews are all showing that the gaming community is really digging Rocksteady’s iteration of Batman and that’s a good sign considering that this is some prized licensed property.
