Rocksteady released a tutorial video for kicking butt and taking names in their upcoming, Batman: Arkham Asylum. The video shows off a number of snazzy looking combat moves for Batman to execute, as well as a number of takedowns and special maneuvers used to incapacitate enemies.

While the game may have been delayed from June to late summer, it doesn’t stop it from being one of the most anticipated games of the year. The following trailer is a good way to pass some time for those over-anxious gamers, as it reveals a bit more about the game’s combat mechanics and combo system.

The following tutorial is from the challenge mode in the game. It features several rounds of hand-to-hand combat with Batman disposing of increasingly difficult enemies using a number of martial arts maneuvers, throws, counters and combos. I believe he even ventures to execute his attacks in that very order. Nevertheless, it’s an awesome video and a great way to learn a bit more about the gameplay of Batman: Arkham Asylum.
