Behold, The Creepiest PS Vita Ad Ever

The PlayStation Vita's rear and front touch screens are fascinating technology but how do you promote them to a mass audience? A new print ad from Sony has the answer: boobs!

The ad (via NeoGAF) shows a woman with breasts on her front and back. The caption reads, "Two touch screens. Twice the sensation." Get it?!



It's tough to make touchpads seem sexy or exciting so I guess Sony deserves some small credit for trying. On the other hand: eww. A female torso with extra breasts growing out of its back does not make me hot and bothered. I'm guessing the ad's even less effective on gamers that aren't attracted to women.

The ad just gets worse the more you think about it. It's another example of gaming companies acting like their customers are just sex-starved losers who will be enthralled by the sight of a boob. This is the same sort of marketing logic that led to booth babes manning gaming conventions.
