Borderlands 2 Live-Action Commercial Looks Like B Movie

Hopefully the film industry is sane enough to never make a live-action film based on Borderlands 2. A new commercial from 2K Games shows what such a monstrosity would look like.

In the advertisement, the quartet of heroes rough up a bandit gang. The visuals are spot-on. The filmmakers managed to capture the cartoonish visuals of Borderlands perfectly.

Seeing the battle unfold in live-action makes you realize just how goofy the game really looks. The gunzerker's hair, for example, is absurd. I'm not sure any amount of Hollywood magic could make that hairdo seem cool and natural.

Borderlands 2 will make its North American debut on September 18th. It'll arrive elsewhere in the world on the 21st.
