Co-op shooter Borderlands 2 is coming to the Mac this month. Aspyr Media will release their port of the game through their digital store GameAgent as well as Steam on November 20th.
The Mac version Borderlands 2 will support the drop-in/drop-out co-op of the PC/PS3/360 version. You'll even be able to play alongside PC gamers thanks to Steam Play. The PC version will occasionally be out of sync with the Mac version due to updates, though. Hopefully Aspyr is quick enough with Mac updates to make this scenario a rarity. Upon launch, both the "Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty" and "Mechromancer Pack" DLC will be available for download. Aspyr will be porting over future B2 DLC as well. If you pre-order Borderlands 2 from GameAgent, you can receive the "Mechromancer" add-on for free. The port's official FAQ also mentions some other key details. Borderlands 2 for Mac features English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish languages. You can play the game with wired Xbox 360 controllers in case you're not keen on your mouse and keyboard. The minimum system requirements for the Mac port are below. Alternately, you can use the Mac Match feature at Game Agent's website to figure out whether your system measures up.
