Borderlands 2 Video Features 10 Minutes of Gungasmic Gameplay

Gearbox Software and VG 24/7 have released a 10 minute video of Borderlands 2, featuring some town exploration, a look at classic characters from the first game and enough projectile firing, bad-guy blasting, enemy eviscerating gameplay that is simply gungasmic.

Much like that upcoming Expendables 2: Videogame, Borderlands 2 is an automatic-buy for me. It's one of those games where reviews won't even matter and I'll probably disappear from normal everyday life to loot-grind some amazing guns. Check out the new gameplay vid below.



One of my biggest complaints about the first Borderlands was that the weapons didn't have enough semblance to classical weapon functionality. A lot of guns were very similar and not entirely fun to use or aesthetically original. I love for Borderlands 2 that the game has a much wider variety of looks, reloading, aesthetics and ammo types, granting players with a much more vast and diversified selection of guns.

I'm glad in the video there were multiple weapons and weapon types on display because it gave viewers a nice look at some of the various types of guns and how the bad guys react to them. I especially liked how shooting the little guy kept tripping him up on his way towards the players. Pretty cool stuff.
