Call Of Juarez 4 Being Announced Thursday?

Ubisoft looks like they're about to announce a fourth Call of Juarez. A new image on the series' Facebook page is teasing an announcement on September 6th.

The image shows a man in Wild West garb sitting in a bar. His hat is tipped downward so we can't get a look at his face. The picture's blurred a bit too, making guesswork even harder.



The latest Call of Juarez installment, The Cartel, was set in the present-day. This image seems to rule that setting out, at least. It remains to be seen what relationship this new game will have to the other two entries in the series, though. Will it be a direct sequel to the first Juarez? Or will it, like Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, be a prequel?

To give a lazy guess: it looks like a prequel to Bound in Blood. The figure is wearing fingerless gloves, like Ray McCall. Bound depicted the later days of his gunslinging career, so perhaps Juarez 4 will show him as a young buck?

Anyway, we've only got a day to argue about it. If you've got a better guess, speak up.
