Now that the NFL lockout is over, football fans can start to get excited about the upcoming season. The Madden NFL 12 demo should be a good way to pump yourself up.

The Madden 12 demo will be released August 9th on the Xbox 360 and PS3. It will let you play a game between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears in Soldier Field. Quarters are limited to five minutes.

The demo's a rematch of last season's NFC Championship. In that game, the Packers won 21-14. This is an opportunity for you Bears fans to get some revenge, provided Jay Cutler doesn't sprain his MCL again.

Madden NFL 12 arrives in stores on August 30th. Though the demo will only be available for the PS3 and 360, the full game will also appear on the PS2, Wii, 3DS and PSP.
