CM4 Nintendo DSi Slim Cover Gets Shot, Flamed And Drilled For Your Protection

published: 2010-12-02 14:02:31
If you ever decided to take a trip to Afghanistan and bring your DSi with a CM4 slim cover, there’s a possibility that if your convoy was attacked by insurgents with AK-74s, it might survive even if you don’t. A new series of promotional videos and odd tests were released featuring CM4’s DSi slim covers taking some mean punishment to prove just how much protection they provide for your DSi.

As stated in the press release…
CM4 asks the question this week, "What happens when a Nintendo DSi, outfitted with a Catalyst SLIM COVER, is pitted against the more extreme drops, dings, and scuffs that portable consoles face daily?” CM4’s curiosity didn’t stop there, though, and prompted the creation of a new web video series called Catalyst Versus in which they also put the Catalyst SLIM COVER for Nintendo DSi XL to the test against guns, power tools, and explosives.

If you’re into seeing shotguns blast holes into covers, or flamethrowers roast the living crap out of a mobile device protector, then you might enjoy the Catalyst Versus series which is fully accessible over at the Official CM4 Facebook Page.

Gamers interested in picking up some slim covers for their mobile gaming devices can do so from Amazon and other e-tailers.
