Capcom has announced that new downloadable content will be available for Dark Void next week, along with an 80-minute long soundtrack. The new content will partially extend the playing experience and is more likely being made available to make up for the lacking multiplayer content.

According to the press release…

The new DLC will be an arcade-esque experience where the player battles through hoards of enemies on the ground and in the air while collecting points and upgrading weaponry, with the goal being to survive to Round 10 and increase their previous high score.

The new DLC is pretty cheap…so it sounds like it may extend the gameplay more than the price of purchase. Speaking of prices, the downloadable content will be available on February 10th for 400 MS points on the Xbox 360 and February 11th for $4.99 on the PS3.
