Vigil Games and THQ released a really rocking new trailer for the titular character of DarkSiders II called Death Eternal. It's a brief chronological bio of the supernatural entity known as Death, and it's definitely worth a watch.

THQ has been doing a good job of keeping this game in the limelight and keeping it relevant in the media. Every week or so some new assets, trailer or video documentary surfaces to give gamers a nice glimpse into what to expect from the game and this latest trailer just helps fill in the story for the lead protagonist.



If you want a trailer with a bit more sugar and spice and dash of a scythe's slice, be sure to check out the other recently released video montage showing off some of the weapons and arsenal that will be at the disposal of Death in the Arsenal trailer. There are also some follow-up screenshots that give you a really awesome look at the character in some dynamic poses.

DarkSiders II is scheduled to release this summer for the Xbox 360 and PS3. It's part of a line-up of core games that THQ will be focusing on from here on out. Their new motto is basically going all-in for the hardcore market and leaving the casual kiddy stuff to Microsoft, EA and Activision.
