DayZ Standalone Screenshots Head To The Hospital, Factory

Dean “Rocket” Hall updated the DayZ tumblr to include some brand new screenshots from the upcoming standalone rendition of this year's mostly talked about zombie experience. The screens contain a look at the interiors of the new hospital and a metalworks factory. In addition to this, Rocketman Hall has revealed some exciting new details about one of the most anticipated zombie thrillers ever.

So, the screenshots are mostly interior related, as the big focus on the game is that players will be able to go in and out of buildings at a much greater frequency, which was actually one of the bigger complaints about the original DayZ mod.

The screenshots below look fantastic and the game's visual fidelity is of a much higher caliber than I originally had been anticipating, especially after the first batch of screenshots were released. That hospital hallway looks like it will play host to some fascinating and fun times, eh?

Anyway, on to the big stuff: Hall commented about some of the things gamers can look forward to in DayZ standalone, including brand new vehicles to commandeer, and tons of new content to access in the standalone version. According to Hall...

Next week we start the final phase of our data migration, which will then result in some new screenshots demonstrating some Take on Helicopter vehicles ported over, giving DayZ access to many types of vehicles from military helicopters, to fire engines, police cars, and all the military and civilian vehicles you are used too from ArmA2.

This means we might be seeing the return of the misadventures of Bandit Bus!

Also, I can't wait to see some footage of the zombies. The build up to the anticipation is overwhelming.
