Deadpool Screenshots Head To The Bouncy Castle

Activision revealed a bit more of upcoming High Moon Studios shooter Deadpool at this year's Gamescom. The first screenshots from the game show the Merc with a Mouth kicking ass and having a lot of fun.

Deadpool, a Marvel Comics character, is a veteran of the Weapon X program that produced Wolverine. He has superhuman healing, in addition to excellent strength and speed. All this, coupled with his extensive combat training, makes him a formidable opponent.

However, he's not exactly a consummate professional. Deadpool isn't right in the head and subsequently takes life a lot less serious than he ought to. Expect the game to be equal parts slapstick and action. One of the shots illustrates this perfectly: Deadpool, armed to the death, prepares to enter a bouncy castle.

High Moon, the creators of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is preparing Deadpool for a 2013 release.
