Death Rally Now Available For PC

Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that their remake of the old-school arcade death-racer, Death Rally, is currently available for PC. The game brings all the classic overhead carnage back to the racing arena made famous during the early 90s with games like Combat Cars, Micromachines and of course, the original Death Rally.

Matias Myllyrinne, CEO at Remedy, commented in the press release about the game, saying...

“It’s been very rewarding bringing Death Rally back to PCs. Death Rally was our first title and it’s been a nice, destructive trip down memory lane. We’ll see everyone on the track!”

Unsurprisingly enough, Death Rally managed to move 11 million digital units for mobile devices and clocks in with more than 110 million play sessions. I'm curious if they'll be able to land similar figures at a $9.99 pricepoint on Steam?

Speaking of pricepoints, the game's current availability is marked off by 15% and is running at the $8.47 pricepoint from now up until August 10th. So now would probably be a pretty good time to grab yourself a digital copy.
