Capcom released a simple yet perplexing new trailer for Davil May Cry, labeling it as a secret trailer. It involves Dante killing things (as usual) and a giant obelisk floating in the sky attached to some chains.

I can't really make out what's really going on and there isn't much of any lead-in information to the trailer other than the area you're about to see is supposed to be a secret location that you can only access from various, special portals located throughout the game. What happens when Dante gets to these locations? I don't know. Why is he there? I don't know. Why is there a giant, blurry floating brick in the sky? I don't know. Basically you'll just have to watch the trailer for what it's worth.



This upcoming Devil May Cry is an origin story for the series' popular protagonist, Dante. You can see his not-so-humble beginnings in Ninja Theory's re-imagining of the series when it hits store shelves in 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
