Dishonored Arrives In North America, France

Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks released first-person action game Dishonored today. In Dishonored, players become a supernatural assassin on a quest for revenge.

Dishonored is set in the steampunk city of Dunwall. The Empress has been murdered and her bodyguard Corvo has been framed for the crime. As Corvo, players track down the conspirators responsible for the murder and...deal with them.

The selling point of the game is its flexibility. Players have a wide selection of weapons, gadgets and supernatural powers to use in their missions. They can choose how to accomplish missions. You can sneak through the shadows and not harm a soul, or charge your enemies head on and leave no one alive to tell the tale.

The game's currently available in stores through North America and France on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Australia and Spain will receive it on the 11th. Europe will have to wait until the 12th.

Reviews for the game have been solid so far. Some have called it "stunning" or a "once-in-a-generation" game. The Metacritic rating is hovering around 89 across all platforms at the moment.
