Dishonored Screenshots Explore Dunwall

QuakeCon is now underway and Bethesda is showing off their upcoming stealth-action game Dishonored. A fresh batch of screenshots show various areas in Dunwall, the main city of the game.

Players control Corvo, a masked assassin on a quest for revenge. He used to be the bodyguard for the Empress but was framed for her murder. Now he uses his stealth, magic and small arsenal of weapons and gadgets to set things right.

The steampunk setting of Dishonored is one of the more fascinating aspects. For every beautiful sight, there's something grotesque (like the masks worn by characters in one shot). It seems like it'll be fun just to exist in this world. I think that's why the game's getting some comparisons to BioShock.

Dishonored is due in the second week of October and we can't wait. If you recall, we crowned it the best game at E3.
