In a shift to obviously get more gamers interested in the open-world, action-RPG, Divinity II: Ergo Draconis, cdv Entertainment has announced that the game would take a fairly significant cut in price. Going from $59.99 down to $39.99 for both the Xbox 360 and PC is a bit of a landslide in retail pricing but as they say, the cheaper the better.

The game itself sees players taking on the role of a dragon slayer who must become a dragon in order to slay an evil tyrant who, at one time, was the land’s savior. If I must say so myself, that’s an interesting mix of dichotomies there.

Anyway, the game constantly has contests running with tons of swag and cool prizes to earn. So if you plan on purchasing the game now that it’s only $39.99, be sure to head over to the Honor of Rivellion site for a chance to win some in-game goodies and other neat stuff.
