One of the many titles Activision will be showing off at this year's E3 is their new music-mixing game DJ Hero. Today they revealed some details about DJ's soundtrack.

DJ Hero will feature over 100 songs from the hip-hop, R&B, pop, rock and electronica genres. These songs have been transformed into 80 original mixes by the likes of DJ Shadow, DJ Z-Trip and DJ AM. The soundtrack is said to include some DJ-guitar mixes, meaning that one player can play along with the turntable controller while another plays a Guitar Hero peripheral.

The game will arrive on the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, and Wii in Fall 2009. It is being developed by B-Boy studio FreeStyleGames, which was purchased by Activision in 2008.
